The Consulate General of Antigua and Barbuda in Toronto was honoured to welcome His Excellency Sir Ronald Sanders, Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the United States of America and the Organization of American States (OAS) and High Commissioner to Canada, during an official visit to the Consulate.
During the visit, Sir Ronald met with Consul General Gail Christian and Vice Consul General Zeina Hechme for productive discussions on matters of mutual importance, including strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s diplomatic representation in Canada, enhancing engagement with the Antiguan and Barbudan diaspora, and advancing the nation’s foreign policy and development objectives.
The meeting underscored the importance of close collaboration among Antigua and Barbuda’s overseas missions in promoting national interests, deepening bilateral relationships, and providing meaningful support to citizens abroad. Discussions also reaffirmed the shared commitment of the High Commission and the Consulate General to advancing Antigua and Barbuda’s presence and influence throughout Canada and the wider international community.
This engagement reflects the Government of Antigua and Barbuda’s ongoing dedication to strengthening its diplomatic network and ensuring effective representation of the nation and its people.
